The deceased then handed Mr Fraser the servile copy of

the Summons, and afterwards gave him the precognition

sent herewith.

On the same day the deceased and Mrs Christine

Tolmie or Ross called on Morris and Macdonald, Solicitors

Inverness and executed a Mutual Will under which each

appointed the other sole dispenser and executor of the predecessor.

On the next day the deceased went to Edinburgh

for the purpose of being examined by a Doctor before

returning to Hong Kong.

Shortly after arriving in Edinburgh he called

on his sister Mrs Bain, presumably about the articles he was claiming from her probably also about the Action of Separation and aliment, in which her Law Agent was acting for the Pursuer What transpired is not known but the deceased fired at and wounded his sister, and

then committed suicide.
